Nick is one of the UK's top current affairs podcast producers. Until 2018 he was the Broadcast Editor of The Spectator and produced hundreds of hours of podcasts, listened to many millions of times. He was later the Podcasts Editor at the New Statesman magazine, winning a Publisher Podcast Award there, in addition to producing multimedia content for the likes of The Telegraph, Prospect, Al-Jazeera and the Labour party. Since founding Podot in 2018, he has worked with numerous editorial and corporate clients. As a producer, he has won an Australian Podcast Award (A Podcast of One’s Own with Julia Gillard), Broadcasting Press Guild award for Podcast of the Year (Movers & Shakers), and British Podcast Awards Gold (Movers & Shakers). He also wrote, produced and hosted the critically acclaimed documentary podcasts, The Town That Didn’t Stare and The Town That Knew Too Much. In his (professional) free time, he is Chief TV Critic for The Independent, a regular commentator on BBC Radio 4, and writer for numerous publications.
